Dr. Sambit Kumar Das is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 27 years of extensive national and international experience in hospital administration, operations management, and strategic leadership. He has a distinguished track record of successfully leading healthcare institutions, driving business growth, and improving clinical and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre, Dr. Das served as CEO of Ruban Group of Hospitals and held senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer at Modern Healthcare LLC, Oman, Head of Medical Services at Fortis Hospital, Kolkata and Head of Medical Services at Columbiasia Hospital. He has been instrumental in establishing super-specialty healthcare facilities, implementing advanced clinical protocols, and achieving significant improvements in patient care quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Dr. Das is also recognized for pioneering initiatives such as advanced transplant programs, infection control excellence, and large-scale hospital expansion projects. His leadership has consistently resulted in measurable improvements in patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and organizational growth.
He holds MBBS, MD, MBA (IIM Calcutta), PGDMLE, and is a certified PMP professional, along with multiple certifications in quality, management, healthcare systems, and AI in healthcare from John Hopkins University.

Syed Shah Wahidullah obtained a MBA degree in Finance & Banking from the Dhaka International University, Dhaka in 2001, He has also completed two courses in Hospital Management one from SMU Singapore and one from AIIMS India. He has over 29 years of working experiences in different areas of renowned hospital, Import-Export company, Group of companies. Prior to joining Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Specialty Centre in 2023, Syed Shah Wahidullah worked in Apollo Imperial Hospital (Chattogram) as Head of Procurement & Logistics. Throughout his career, he also worked 13.5 years with United Hospital Limited as Head of SCM & Technology Management, worked 7 years as Director Import in an Import-Export company and also worked 8 years as Executive Secretary in a group of company in KSA.

MD Shorab Hossain is a distinguished financial leader with over 16 years of experience across the healthcare, telecommunications, and financial services industries. As the Chief Financial Officer of Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre, he oversees financial strategy, long-term planning, and fiscal performance.
Shorab holds a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and is a Fellow Member of the ACCA (UK). His extensive professional journey includes leadership roles at Robi Axiata Limited, edotco, BRAC Saajan Exchange Ltd (UK), and AkijBashir Group. With specialized expertise in SAP implementation and supply chain management, he is dedicated to driving operational excellence and transparent financial governance.

Md. Arifur Rahman

Md. Arifur Rahman holds a M. Com degree in Management from the Jagannath University, Dhaka in 2002, He has over 17 years of working experiences in different areas of renowned hospital. Prior to joining Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Specialty Centre, Md. Arifur Rahman worked in United Hospital Limited as Assistant General Manager-Customer Excellence. Throughout his career, he also worked with some reputed hospital. i.e. Imperial Hospital as Head of Revenue Management and Apollo Hospitals as Manager-Financial Operations.

Mohammad Kawsar Jahan

Mohammad Kawsar Jahan

Head of Human Resources & Administration

Mohammad Kawsar Jahan is an accomplished healthcare human resources and administration professional with over 19 years of experience in leading HR functions across large tertiary hospitals and medical education institutions in Bangladesh.

He currently serves as Head of Human Resources & Administration at Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre, where he is responsible for aligning human capital strategy with the hospital’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered oncology and specialized care. Over the course of his career, he has held senior HR leadership positions at United Hospital Limited, Ship International Hospital, Queen’s Hospital, Green Life Medical College, and Dhaka Medical Institute.

Mr. Jahan holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Dhaka International University and brings strong expertise in healthcare HR operations, labor law compliance, HRIS management, and organizational development.

With a deep understanding of hospital workforce dynamics and regulatory requirements, he is particularly focused on building a motivated, compliant, and resilient workforce that supports clinical excellence, patient safety, Institutional growth, workforce planning, clinical and non-clinical talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, payroll, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, and accreditation readiness.
